KCB-GIZ Offer Full Scholarships for Vocational Studies, Here Is How to Apply

 




In a bid to instill employable skills in Ugandans especially the Youth, Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) in cooperation with GIZ E4D partnered with an objective to increase employability and income generation for youths in the construction sector in Uganda through Skills and Enterprise Development.

In line with this, the Principal of Nyamitanga Technical Institute invites interested applicants to a six-month, three-month hands-on training at the institute and three-month industrial training from the industry in the following courses.

·         Plumbing

·         Electrical installation

·         Carpentry and joinery

·         Masonry/bricklaying

The course is fully sponsored by KCB/GIZ and shall be boarding/full-time.

About Nyamitanga Technical Institute

An aerial view of Nyamitanga Technical Institute

The Institute was established by the Catholic Church of Mbarara Archdiocese as a Rural Technical school in the late 1950s. It expanded to become a technical college and then a technical institute. It's a day and boarding school supported by government grants that can be found in Mbarara's Nyamitanga District on the Isingiro-Kikagate Road.
